On a recent road trip my partner, Catherine and I,
reaffirmed our delight of Wandering Washington corner to corner, north to south,
east to west. For the most part we prefer to travel on backroads, at slow
speeds. From the Pacific Ocean to the Cascade crests; farmlands, canyons, coulees, and campgrounds
with many interesting, beautiful and engaging towns intermixed with
vineyards, points-of-interest, resorts and out of the way destinations in
between. This blog will be telling stories, posting photos and sharing a bit of
info we've learned over the years about this 42nd great state that entered the
Union on Nov. 11, in 1889, as well as highlighting other areas in this gem of
the Pacific Northwest.
The pages to the right will touch on different regions of the state and the attributes thereof…
